SmoothParos 2014

Community Building & Managing

Innovation Workshop

9 – 11 May 2014

at Tao’s Center, Ambelas, Paros

The Innovaros group is excited to invite local community leaders to SmoothParos 2014.  Following on from the success of our two previous workshops, this time our focus will be on community building and how we can work together to engage in innovative and sustainable promotional activities for the benefit of our island. Using contemporary cutting-edge concepts of brainstorming and project management, we will learn how to convert ideas into action plans for realistic projects that get done.

We are again extremely fortunate to have two highly qualified professionals in the field of multimedia and marketing to lead Smoothparos 2014.  Chris Brauer and Jennifer Barth are lecturers in media and computing at the centre for Creative and Social Technologies at Goldsmiths University of London.  Chris and Jen are also directors at Smoothmedia, a London-based consulting firm creating digital media strategy and solutions for a global portfolio of clients.

The workshop fee (110€ including lunch) is kept as low as possible; we aim only to cover costs.  Our vision is to bring as many members of our community together as we can to work towards an authentic, sustainable and economically-viable future from which we can all benefit.

Attending Smoothparos 2014 will give you the opportunity to have your ideas for Paros’s future included in our plans and to collaborate with like-minded people to make them a reality.

Join us!  Working together we can achieve so much more than working alone!

The workshop will be held in the English language.
